What Can a Vine or a Tree Teach Us About Investing?

 

The growth rings of a tree tell a story. They reveal that successful long-term growth comes little by little. Perseverance is required through the cycles of life, but growth ultimately thrives under the model of the Designer. 

 
 
“Wealth gained hastily will dwindle, but whoever gathers little by little will increase it. (Proverbs 13:11; ESV)”

Jesus Christ once told His disciples:

 

"I am the vine. You are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." (John 15:5; ESV)

 

Jesus is the True Vine. We cannot accomplish anything of eternal significance without Him. Investing is no different.
